CLAHRCs praised in the press

The National Institute for Health Research’s Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) model has been praised in recent Guardian and Health Service Journal (HSJ) articles for the way it’s helped to improve the translation of medical research into frontline care. The Guardian describes how CLAHRCs have worked hard to find ways to engage with managers, clinicians and patients, drawing on expertise from business schools and social sciences as well as from medical research. The HSJ explains the importance of translating research into better patient care, focussing on how the CLAHRCs have bridged this transitional gap: embedding research evidence into routine clinical practice.
