Integration in Manchester - New Report here!

Interested in health and social care integration? Read our new report here evaluating the process of integration in the City of Manchester.

With increasing demands being made of health and social care services there has been a determined drive to find ways of providing improved health outcomes whilst ensuring viable sustainability. In line with national strategy, the City of Manchester has recently engaged in a major initiative to integrate health and social care services into 12 neighbourhood teams across its three localities (Central, North and South Manchester).

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care Greater Manchester (CLAHRC GM) has recently collaborated with Manchester Health Care Commissioning (MHCC) to evaluate this process of integration. Our work involved extensive interviews with key people in the process of service integration (including commissioners and frontline providers).

More information about the project can be found on the project page here.
