Professor Ruth Boaden joins HS&DR Programme Researcher-led Board

CLAHRC Greater Manchester Director, Professor Ruth Boaden, has been invited to join the NIHR Health Services and Delivery Research (HS&DR) Programme Researcher-led Board. The HS&DR Programme aims to produce rigorous and relevant evidence to improve the quality, accessibility and organisation of health services. It supports many types of research, including primary research and evidence synthesis. The Programme is particularly keen to support ambitious evaluative research to improve health services. Full information about the Programme’s remit is available on the HS&DR website. The Programme’s research serves a variety of key stakeholders including NHS managers, Clinical Research Networks (CRNs), clinicians and researchers, service users and carers, and the public. Professor Boaden’s initial tenure will last until 30 June 2018. Members of the Board are asked to contribute expert advice to the development of specific commissioning briefs for the programme.
