The NIHR Applied Research Collaboration East of England's Knowledge Mobilisation programme focuses on building capacity and capability and mobilising evidence across three key priority areas:
- Workforce capability and retention.
- Long-term conditions.
- Prevention initiatives - particularly focused on mental health.
In doing this, these are the main approaches the NIHR East of England's knowledge mobilisation team are taking:
- Disseminating best practices that promote advocacy and engagement with groups underrepresented in research.
- Expanding and redesigning the ARC East of England fellowship initiative across different sectors (e.g. social care, charities and health).
- Providing Action Learning Sets to continue engagement, momentum, reflection and cross fertilisation of learning.
- Funding ICB Impact Fellow roles to enable identification of system priorities and to support the pull of research to catalyse system change and enable scaled impact.
- Providing academic consultancy to deliver workshops and broker relationships with specific stakeholders relevant to project area.
