Group aims
The NIHR Economics Group is committed to:
- creating and supporting peer-to-peer networks and working/interest groups
- identifying future opportunities to provide advice and training, promoting consistency across studies, maintaining standards and progressing methodology
- signposting towards areas of expertise
- identifying and spreading good practice and consistency in economics across NIHR
- acting as a professional voice for economists in NIHR, for example in consultations
- highlighting the positive role of NIHR in promoting economics in applied health and care research and providing support to other national and international funders to emulate this positive role.
