Diabetes and Pre-diabetes
Aims and Scope
We do not have a specific pre-diabetes and diabetes theme within ARC-GM, but we are continuing to build on the legacy work of CLAHRC GM’s (2008 – 2019) within the field of diabetes and pre-diabetes research, largely around the evaluation adn implementation of pre-diabetes and diabetes related interventions.
Key Focuses
- Continuing to support the work of the NIHR HS&DR funded DIPLOMA evaluation of the National NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme.
- Supporting the NIHR Policy Reserach Programme (PRP) funded HEDLINE evaluation of the narional roll out of the Healthy Living for people with Type 2 diabetes web based platform.
- Working with Health Innovation Manchester and industry partners around the evaluation of the local Cities Changing Diabetes programme.
