Organising Care

We are providing  high-quality evidence to inform the planning and delivery of integrated health and care services which are effective, efficient and equitable.

We do this by:

Supporting the Greater Manchester health and care system as it develops more integrated ways of working by:

  • Exploring health and care workforce issues arising out of integrated inter-disciplinary working;

  • Developing a programme of research in care homes, building from the 20 Greater Manchester Teaching Care Homes work, in the areas of person-centred care, digital enablement and partnership working;

  • Evaluating innovations that aim to reduce demand for urgent and emergency care;

  • Evaluating the impacts of new ways of working on equity in access to and delivery of care across communities.
