Working with local partners from the Greater Manchester health and care system to provide co-produce new research, advise on the existing evidence base and evaluate new innovations, to assist with COVID-19 recovery.

COVID-19

The global COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of the full spectrum of research disciplines from early discovery science though to adoption and spread at scale; applied health and care research is more essential than ever.

We are working with local Greater Manchester and national partners to co-produce research aiming to understand and evaluate:

The current healthcare systems and responses to COVID-19;
The extent to which COVID-19 has disproportionally affected certain groups of society
New innovations and ways of working, as part of the COVID-19 recovery plans;
Lessons learnt, to inform new ways of future working.
